GSH-Q is an advanced wireless electronic device designed to simulate and spoof GPS signals to affect the navigation system of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Its main purpose is to prevent unauthorized drones from flying in specific areas, such as civil infrastructure, crowded public event venues, airports and their surrounding airspace, and other restricted airspace.
The GSH-Q cannot replicate the functions of radio communication network equipment for subscribers, nor can it identify or utilize specific features of mobile network protocols (such as GSM). Additionally, no military-grade technologies or requirements were incorporated in the design and manufacturing of the device.
The GSH-Q device can transmit public satellite navigation signals and interfere with the navigation of drones through a series of functions, such as signal blocking, guidance deviation and active protection. It can effectively restrict the flight of commercial drones in no-fly zones, and after integration with radar systems, spectrum detection equipment and wireless jammers, it can accurately set spoof signals to force drones to lose navigation and eventually crash.
The device supports all major global satellite navigation systems (GNSS), including GPS, Beidou, Galileo and GLONASS, ensuring compatibility with various drone models. At the same time, it can receive satellite ephemeris data and system time through the network for fast response. Even in the face of sudden drone intrusions, GSH-Q can quickly generate deception signals without the need to resynchronize between consecutive deception operations.
GSH-Q has flexible setting options to adjust deception strategies for different types of drones to optimize the jamming effect. The device provides multiple signal deception modes, so that operators do not need to have superb technical levels to ensure accurate and efficient jamming effects.
